Officially announced as the "best bottled water of the world
In February 2017, the bottled Natural Mineral Water ZARO’S won the Gold Award in the “Bottled Water” category at the 27th Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting, the oldest and largest water tasting competition in the world, which took place in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, USA.
During the competition, ZARO’S, which originates from springs located at the foothills of the Psiloritis mountain range in Crete, was evaluated by 12 judges, including internationally renowned water tasters, who took into consideration criteria such as aroma, appearance, taste, aftertaste and texture.
The evaluation process lasted two days, during which four separate tastings were conducted for each water.
In April 2016, the bottled ZARO’S Mineral Water received one of the most significant awards at both European and international level. It was distinguished with the “Superior Taste Award” from the iTQi – International Taste & Quality Institute of Brussels, the well-known organization for the testing and evaluation of consumer products, foods and beverages.
ZARO’S water was evaluated by 30 judges, including internationally renowned water tasters as well as Michelin-starred chefs, receiving 2 stars for the quality and taste of its water.
